My Role
I led Fish House’s brand identity development, shaping its visual system, logo language, and color palette to communicate freshness, warmth, and trust across menus, packaging, signage, and digital touch points.
The logo lockup pairs two stylized fish with a bold wordmark, forming a circular emblem that feels both approachable and distinctive. Designed for busy neighborhood streets, the system stays legible on menus, bags, and signage without losing its playful character. Consistent recognition at every scale helps Fish House feel like a local favorite from day one.

Clear space around the logo is defined by the width of one fish body, creating a simple rule that is easy to apply in print and digital. This breathing room protects the mark from competing graphics, keeping it legible on crowded menus, shopfronts, and delivery thumbnails. By anchoring the safezone to the logo’s own geometry, the system stays coherent and recognizable no matter where it appears.

A deep nautical blue anchors the logo’s primary expression, signaling freshness and reliability. A warm coral accent adds energy and appetite, while a soft off‑white base keeps the brand feeling casual and inviting. When the environment demands restraint, monochrome versions step in to maintain clarity without losing personality. Together, these expressions ensure the logo holds its presence on everything from signage to coasters.

The Fish House wordmark uses a serif with open forms and gentle curves, bringing a sense of heritage without feeling formal. Supporting text leans on a clean sans‑serif for menus, signage, and digital interfaces. The combination keeps information easy to scan while reinforcing the brand’s warm, neighborhood voice.

A compact mark derived from one fish creates a simple monogram for small‑scale uses like stickers, loyalty cards, and social avatars, maintaining recognition when space is tight.

Rounded, minimal icons for fish types, sides, and meal categories echo the logo’s geometry, helping menus and digital interfaces stay clear for diners of all ages.

Wave‑like lines, scale‑inspired textures, and simple circles build subtle patterns for liners, backgrounds, and walls, adding character without creating visual clutter.

The new identity gives Fish House a recognizable face in a crowded food neighborhood, making it easy for families to spot the restaurant and remember their experience. Consistent use of the logo, colors, and type across menus, packaging, and digital touchpoints builds trust over repeat visits. Internally, a straightforward system helps the team produce new materials without guesswork, keeping the brand coherent as it grows.
